Gurango Software offers successful candidates, graduates, and interns a variety of roles like: requirements analysts, software engineers and testers, industry domain specialists, project managers, implementation and support staff, pre-sales specialists, account managers, sales executives, and marketing, finance, and administration staff. If you really impress us, we might just offer you a more permanent spot in the GSC family so you can put all your smarts and imagination to good use.
All university and college interns are expected to stay with Gurango Software for at least a 3-month period. During this time, the company will do its best to teach them practical know-how and skills, as well as encourage their personal and professional growth through training and real experience working in the commercial technology industry.
Within the contracted period of internship, students are given six weeks of initial training to familiarize them with the up-to-date platform and tools being used by GSC for software development. Learning is expected to be an integral part of their stay with us, and there will be checkpoint reviews and regular consultations with the Program Manager assigned to the team. Once they pass the assessment, interns will finally be allowed to work on projects for development and testing.
All interns are treated on par with their full time senior and lead engineers with regards to work ethic and procedure. They are provided a daily allowance of P250.00 for their transportation as well as access to spacious and comfortable workstations in their designated areas. State of the art computer equipment to facilitate the completion of their assigned projects are also available for their use.
Aside from in-house training and an increase in awareness of Microsoft technologies, there are a number of benefits that may be gained from an internship at Gurango Software. By having them work on real projects with real stakes on the line, and by holding them to the same standards we do of our employees, our interns learn management, technical, analytical, practical, and personal skills.
The schools participating our internship program also benefit greatly, the foremost of which being able to update their curriculum for Information Technology by consulting with the Program Manager and Team Leaders handling our interns. We consider this communication between the academe and the industry is important to facilitate the seamless transition of potential employees from the classroom to the workforce.
